Corona’s ‘Indian medicine’ to be launched tomorrow, will impact in this way

New Delhi: India has made Corona medicine and it will be launched tomorrow at 10.30 am via video conferencing. Defense Ministry tweeted, “Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will release the first batch of anti-Kovid drug 2DG through VC. The drug has been developed by DRDO’s Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) in collaboration with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

It is being told that about 10 thousand doses will be made available in various hospitals of Delhi by Monday. The emergency use of this drug has been approved by the Drugs Controller General of India after the clinical trial.

This medicine will be mixed after drinking in water. This drug will be given in powder form in a sachet. It is being claimed that the consumption of this 2-DG drug based on glucose will reduce corona patients’ dependence on oxgene.

According to the information, 2-DG medicine will be used as an alternative treatment. The results of this drug have been satisfactory during testing. In the initial trial, it has been found that this also improves the oxygen level of the patient.

According to the information, from December 2020 to March 2021, the third phase of this drug was tried on 220 corona patients. The trial was conducted in 27 hospitals in Delhi, UP, West Bengal, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

During the third day, oxygen dependence of patients decreased from 42% to 31% during the trial. The special thing is that the drug also showed positive effect on patients above 65 years of age. This drug reaches the cells directly where infection occurs and stops the virus from growing. The DRDO has claimed that the RT-PCR report of the Corona patients who were given these medicines during the clinical trial has come out negative soon.
