Critics have described Wonka as the perfect film for this Christmas

The film starring Timothée Chalamet promises to be one of the events of these holidays, according to the reaction it has made among critics.

During the December long week, Warner Bros. Pictures premiere WonkaTHE movie which brings back to the big screen the imagination of Roald Dahl with ideal chocolate at the helm.

Timothée Chalamet leads the cast of this new adaptation that serves as a prequel to Dahl’s original story, exploring the origins of Willy Wonka. In the film controls are Paul Kingknown for his impeccable work on Paddington.

Timothée Chalamet’s performance as the titular chocolatier stands out, as expected, but be warned that Hugh Grant manages to steal every scene he appears in. The negative note is Keegan-Michael Key, who seems underused in the film.
