From 7 to 14 August, the Canadian Masters 1000 will be held, during which it will compete at Montreal facilities during 2022.

tournament results

The Masters 1000 which usually changes its location every year as it has Montreal and Toronto and usually replaces it with the women’s circuit. The current world number 1 Daniil Medvedev is the champion who managed to lift the scepter in 2021. We have the casualties of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal who have done a lot of damage to the draw besides learning a few days ago that Alexander Zverev was not going to be able to be in Canada.

Andy Murray who entered with a wild card knows what it’s like to win the tournament three times and with world No. 1, they will be the only two players who know what it’s like to lift the title. Carlos Alcaraz, who is the current world No. 4, will be the second seed who is at the bottom of the draw. In addition, other invitations from the British have been extended to Vasek Pospisil, Alexis Gallerno and Belgian David Goffin. It will be a draw where the top eight seeds will start from the second round.
