In Florida, a 47-year-old Cuban man appeared in Miami-Dade criminal court charged with the attempted murder of his girlfriend.
The subject, identified as Manuel Morillo Enquinosa, first tried to strangle the victim, then tried to drown her in a jacuzzi and also shot her, although he failed to kill her.
