Marc Anthony is all about long tablecloths. This weekend the well-known salsa singer celebrated his 55th birthday and one of his best friends couldn’t miss the occasion: David Beckham.
The 48-year-old former football player took to his social networks to share a few postcards together with his good friend, to which he dedicated an emotional message in which he showed that he feels nothing but love for him.

Beckham shared a first black and white photo with the caption: “Once a brother, always a brother. Happy birthday man, I love you.” In the picture, both celebrities are seen smiling as they warmly hug each other.
In the second postcard, the friends are seen smiling while drinking a glass of wine in front of a Christmas-decorated fireplace. “We laughed like ourselves,” Beckham wrote in the photo’s description.
A week full of surprises
On September 7th, Marc Anthony was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During the ceremony, the “Vivir mi vida” singer received a pleasant surprise from his “brother” David Beckham, who was present at the ceremony to give an emotional speech that left Marc in tears and completely shocked.
“I met Marc 20 years ago when he played for Real Madrid. It’s probably not very interesting to say this, but I was very impressed when I met him because I listened to his music on the way to every Real Madrid game. Now I dress a little like him. “I learned one-man salsa, but don’t tell my wife,” Beckham continued.
“When we met, we immediately had a special connection. I knew I had a friend for life. Over the years our friendship has grown and Marc is a family member, the godfather of my son Cruz and someone I enjoy spending time with,” said the former football player.
