In addition, López Obrador assured that “we have lost a public servant of deep commitment and unquestioning honesty”, to which he embraced his family and friends.

Cervantes Peredo was also in charge of National Reconstruction Program of the present administration.
After the news of death, Mexico City head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, He described Sedatu’s under-secretary as a “simple, hardworking, honest person, with great faith and great ideas”.
He also admitted that the “departure” of a colleague “hurts a lot”, to which he extended his affection to the relatives of the public official.
“A human being and an exemplary fighter. See you always dear,” Sheinbaum said on his Twitter account.
