Dcoop increases its oil turnover in the foreign market by 20%

Olimerca.- The Dcoop Cooperative Society continues to develop abroad with a significant increase in turnover year after year. According to the most recent annual balance sheet presented by the cooperative group, in 2022 Dcoop sold 603,600,278 coins outside our borders, which represents an increase of 24.56% compared to 2021, when this figure was 484,596, 683, in coins, that is, it grew by more. 119 than a million. In terms of kilos/liters, it went from 287,283,175 in 2021 to 290,251,752 in 2022.

And if we talk about different business areas, oils and other derived products continue to be the business engines of the Dcoop Group abroad. The most exported in 2022 was olive oil with 120,454,926 kilos/liter, including package and bulk from Dcoop and Mercaoleo, its bottling subsidiaries, and fatty acids from Qorteba, reporting an economic impact of 431,013,323 euros, that is, 20.1% more than in the previous year .

In a comparative analysis by volume, it will be noted that in 2021 it reached 125,544,034 k/l, and in 2022 it remained at 120,454,926 k/l, which means a drop of 4.2%. Behavior results in a significant rise in prices that occurred in the market and which directly affected the behavior of exports.

By country, the main buyers of Dcoop oils were the United States and Italy. In the United States, because of the agreement it has with Pompeii, which allows it to be tested in olive oil in large distribution packages, and in Italy, rather, to export the oil in bulk.

Another of the main assets of the Dcoop Group are its olive tables. By 2022, 46,378,169 kilos were exported to other countries, with olives and goods, since there are regions that require seasoned olives. Thus, the agri-food cooperative last year exported 46,128,708 kilos of olives, the weight of which is 90,259,639, the index is referred to 44,018,054 kg. in 2021 they are reported with a turnover of 75,289,490.

In 2022, the difference was 249,461 kilos, which was known as goods.

The country to which the largest package of table olives was sold was Germany.

There are also figures for wine, with an export of 117,682, 824 liters by volume and liters by volume. Most of the production of Dcoop Vinos-Baco, with a 15-member cooperative, is bought in La Mancha, Rioja Alavesa and the Jerez area. In this way, in 2022, 111,194,821 bulk letters were exported which translated into a turnover of almost 54 million coins.

Bottted wines have reached 27 countries, such as Germany, Poland, the United States of America, Japan or China, among which there are these Asian countries, to which more than one million have literally traveled. Italy was the region to which Dcoop Vinos-Baco exported the most wine, with almost 45 million liters, followed by France, with more than 43 million liters, and Germany, with almost 12 million liters.

The Nuts section of Dcoop has recently started its journey to trade almond and pistachio production partners. In 2022, 346,330 kilos of nuts were sold in Italy, France, Poland and Turkey, with a cooperative economic report of more than 1,53000. This is a significant increase, because in 2021 only 92,327 kilos were exported.

Presence in 79 countries
Decoop has expanded the production of its cooperatives (oil, wine, oil, goat’s milk, supplies and nuts) from 75 to 79 countries, both in bulk and in packages. Italy (77,245,438.50 kl), the United States (55,978,580 kl), France (55,643,898 kl), Germany (22,646,569.50 kl), Portugal (7,153,091.50 kl) or Japan (6,604,419.50 kl), among others. The company has sold in countries as diverse as Azerbaijan, Iraq, Montenegro, Mongolia, Cameroon, Kenya and Venezuela, or as exotic as the Ivory Coast, the Dominican Republic or French Polynesia.
