Delhi court increases Sushil Kumar’s police remand

New Delhi: Delhi court has extended the police remand of wrestler Sushil Kumar for 4 days in the murder of 23-year-old Sagar Rana at Chhatrasal Stadium. Delhi police produced Sushil in the Rohini court, where the court extended remand. According to the information, the police sought the remand of 7 people. Along with this, the Delhi Police has been instructed to have a medical test done every 24 hours. Sushil’s lawyer can meet him in police custody.

Police say that Sushil Kumar is the master mind and main culprit of the heinous crime in which a young Sagar Rana was killed. This is clear from the video clip of an accused and the statement of an eyewitness.

During the last 6 days, Sushil Kumar did not cooperate with the police. The mobile phones of the accused have not yet been recovered. 18 – 20 persons were involved in kidnapping and serious assault offenses. Many others are yet to be arrested. The investigating agency should be given a chance to reveal the truth. The clothes Sushil wore on the day of the incident are also to be recovered.

Sushil’s lawyer told the court that unless the Investigation Officer appears before the court with the case diary, he cannot be given custody. Lawyer Pradeep Rana said that we are getting messages. There is also a video of the incident. When Sushil Kumar’s custody is with the police, things are sealed, then how does this video become public 2 days after the PC? He said that the video is causing misunderstanding among the public.
