Delhi Police has registered an FIR against Mahant Swami Yeti Narasimhanand Saraswati of Dasna Temple in Ghaziabad. According to Indian Express journalist Mahendra Singh Manral, this action has been taken during a press conference in Delhi for allegedly hurting religious sentiments by making comments against Pangbar Mohammed.

Delhi Police said that taking cognizance of this video, an FIR has been registered in the Parliament Street police station under sections 153-A and 295-A of the Indian Penal Code. The video, featuring Yati Narasimhanand’s remarks in a press conference, is viral on social media.

Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan had complained against Mahant in Delhi’s Jamia Nagar police station regarding this video. Amanatullah Khan shared the video on Twitter and said that a written complaint has been lodged against him in Jamia Nagar for his mischief.

He said, “Yeti Narasimhanand has cheated in the pride of Prophet Mohammed, he is ordered to be beheaded or his tongue cut off. But we trust the Constitution. It is expected that he will be taken to jail after taking action against him. We respect all the gurus of all religions – Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. That is why we do not want anyone who believes in any religion to behave in the pride of our religion guru. If Sharia had been here, this man would have been publicly cut by the neck, hung with a tongue. But we respect the law and it does not allow it, that’s why I have come here. I appeal to the top officer that this person has tried to spoil the atmosphere of the country. The Muslims have been hurt, they have suffered because we cannot tolerate this impudence under any circumstances. ”

Prior to the complaint, Amanatullah Khan wrote on Twitter, “We have absolutely no tolerance in the pride of our prophet, by cutting both the tongue and the neck of this hated worm, it should be punished severely. But the law of India does not allow us to do this, we have faith in the constitution of the country and I want the Delhi Police to take notice of it. ”
