Veteran Bollywood actor Dev Anand’s long-standing bungalow has now been sold. Late actor’s children Sunil Anand and Devina Anand have decided to sell his house. There are reports that after the house is demolished, a 22-story tower will be built on this site. According to media reports, the deal for the house was done for around Rs 400 crore.
Dev Anand died on December 3, 2011.

According to reports in Hindustan Times, sources close to the late actor’s family said that Dev Anand’s Juhu bungalow has been sold to a real estate company. The deal for this house is closed. Currently the paperwork is still in progress. If reports are to be believed, the bungalow in this prime location was sold for around Rs 350 to Rs 400 Crores.
A building will be constructed in place of a bungalow
If media reports are to be believed, the real estate company that bought this bungalow from Dev Anand has now decided to construct a 22-story building at this location.

Dev Anand’s bungalow has been empty for a long time

In an old interview with the media, Dev Anand had talked about his house. He had said: “We built this house in 1950.” Back then, Juhu was like a small village. There was a forest here. Now Juhu has become a very crowded area.
