Did Travis Kelce Really Wear a Taylor Swift-Inspired Outfit Leaving the Chiefs Game?

Well, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift certainly gave us something to talk about when the singer appeared front and center at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Not only was Swift seen cheering and chatting with Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, throughout the game, but the rumored pair also left together, each wearing outfits that caught the eye of many fans.

While the 33-year-old singer chose to wear his red and white Chiefs New Era Cap windbreaker tied around his waist, Kelce, also 33, was spotted wearing a matching blue and white denim jacket and pants combo. The couple’s big exit from the game was captured by Chicago-based sports anchor Jarrett Payton.

“Talk about being in the right place at the right time!” Payton wrote, sharing the short clip on the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce leave Arrowhead together after the game.”

The jacket and pants, which retail for $295 and $285 respectively, are named “1989 BEDROOM PAINTING SET” as a supposed nod to Swift’s 2014 album. 1989.

The timing was no coincidence either, as Swift announced last month at the final stop of her first leg. Era tour in Los Angeles where he released a re-recording of the album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), on October 27, exactly nine years after the original. Many fans ran with it, claiming that Kelce intentionally delivered a classic Swift Easter egg in her choice of outfit.

Regardless, Swift’s appearance at Sunday’s game led to weeks of rumors that began when Kelce first admitted to trying to shoot his summer shot while attending his stop in Kansas City. Era tour. Before the game, he also teased that Swift might make an appearance.

“I threw it there, I threw the ball in his court,” Kelce said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday. “I said, ‘I saw you rock the Arrowhead stage, maybe you should come watch me rock the Arrowhead stage, and see who’s the brightest.’ So, let’s see what happens in the near future.”
