ENSENADA.- The DIF Baja California renovated the park and the community development center of the Jalisco neighborhood, in the municipality of Ensenada, and held a large festival there, as part of the celebration of Mexico’s call for independence, which allowed communities to live together.
Delia Vargas, a resident of this neighborhood, thanked the DIF Baja California and the state government for their support in the rehabilitation of the recreational area and the

As part of the fair, Ensenada’s community centers competed for the best dish, with Playas de Chapultepec winning, which served traditional tamales with beans.
Best Decoration went to Maneadero and Best Costumes went to CDC 89.
Mónica Vargas emphasized that all the signature dishes are exquisite, but the most important thing is that they are prepared with love.
“My appreciation, gratitude and respect go out to each of you, I love you and I love you very much,” he emphasized.
In addition, he appreciated the work of the promoters and team of DIF Baja California, saying: “Thanks to them, community unity events become possible.”
He also thanked Jesús Escoto Esparza, President of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Spice Industry (Canirac), for his support in the dish competition.
Escoto Esparza recognized the flavor of the communities and pointed out the interest in publicizing citizen products through the camera.
The fair took place on September 14th, where, in addition to food stalls, there were games, registry office and artistic performances of singing and dancing.
