Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will launch Digital Voter Identity Card today i.e. 11th National Voters Day. It can be easily downloaded and used on a mobile phone or computer. It will be a non-editable digital version of the e-Elector Photo Identity Card, the Elector Photo Identity Card, which can be stored securely through mediums such as Digital Locker and can be printed in Portable Document Format (PDF) format.
In this, a secure QR code with photos and demographics like serial number, part number etc. will be given and people will also be able to vote. In such a situation, people will also get rid of the hassle of printing physical cards.

Let us know that the digital voter identity card will be available in PDF format and new voters will also get a hard copy of their voter ID card. This card can be accessed by going to the Voter Helpline app and https://voterportal.eci.gov.in/ and https://www.nvsp.in/ website.
For this, you have to login on the voter portal key. If you do not have an account, you will have to create an account through mobile number and email ID. Apart from this, if you already have an account, you can login and download e-EPIC.
First new voters will get digital voter ID card
The e-EPIC Initiative will be launched in two phases. The first phase will run from January 25 to 31, in which the card will be given to new voters who have applied for Voter-ID card and have registered their mobile numbers in Form-6, they can only download their e-EPIC by certifying their mobile number. will do. Mobile numbers should be unique in this and should not be registered in ECI voter list first.
The second phase will start from February 1 and people will be able to download their digital voter ID card, whose phone numbers are associated with the Election Commission. Voters whose phone numbers are not registered with the Election Commission will have to verify their information with the Election Commission and have to link their mobile number to avail the download facility.
