Recently, WiFi networks have become convenient, which is present in all Spanish homes. The development of such technology does not slow down and it is more difficult to imagine life without it. Despite this, there are many users who do not enjoy the speed of the connection.
Well, while WiFi is somewhat ethereal, and it’s difficult to figure out how to improve its performance, there are two things we can do. Next, I’ve put together 7 very useful tricks that can improve your connection speed:
Mode of consumption. Look at what devices are connected to the network and try to have as few downloads or access to streaming platforms as possible. Both activities eat up a lot of internet and can slow down other processes.
Change the route. In order for the device to give us the best possible connection, we must avoid interference as much as possible. In order to achieve this, the technique we use is to set the path as close as possible. Also, the antenna path is always vertical.
Change of route. If the route is several years old, it is outdated and replacing it can increase the effect.
Use less saturated channels. Repeaters usually have 13 channels and operate between 2,401 and 2,483 MHz. With applications such as Wifi Analyzer we can determine which ones are more saturated and modify the configuration to change it to useless.
Use an amplifier. If the signal is very weak in certain areas of your home, it is always a good idea to buy an amplifier that increases the coverage.
Turned to 5GHz. First of all we have to check if our router can access this configuration. If possible, we can switch to 5GHz to have a stronger signal, but less distance.
Investigation of different operators. Another factor that can make a difference in speed is our contract with the operator. In this case it is important to look at the different packages they offer and see if there is any interest in making the switch to the company.
