It is worth noting that article 17-K of the Federal Tax Code (CFF) details that The tax mailbox is the official electronic means of communication for SAT to communicate with the taxpayer.which can be accessed from the SAT website.
How do I activate my Tax Mailbox?
1.- Access. To activate your tax mailbox, access the sat.gob.mx page, on the right side there is a green section with Tax Mailbox, click there, it will redirect you to a site so you can enter through your RFC and password, or RFC and electronic signature, plus captcha to verify that you are not a robot.
2. Configure. Select the Settings option and fill in the contact media form. You must register your email and cell phone number.
3. Confirm your contact method. For email, click on the link sent to your email, and for cell phone, enter the code sent to your phone via SMS in the contact media form.
Then go to Tax Mailbox, Configuration option and register the code where it reads “Capture the activation code we sent you via SMS”. Click continue and that’s it, your electronic mailbox will be activated.
