all elite wrestling held last night’s AEW Double or Nothing, an event that stood out for its billboards and its headline matches, but most notably Blackpool Combat Club (Brian Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli) and The Elite (The Young Bucks ), Kenny Omega and Hangman Page) celebrated in the main event of the show with the stipulation of “Chaos in the Arena”.
All types of weapons were used in the war, such as chairs, ropes, stabbing weapons and even thumbs, It was these elements that took the match to the next level, such as when Jon Moxley floored Matt Jackson with a bare foot on a large number of thumbtacks that were strategically placed around the ring.
Matt Jackson not only stepped on the tack, but he also he had to put them in his mouth, Rather it was members of Blackpool Combat Club who did it, ending with an uppercut from Claudio Castagnoli that sent him flying through the air. All Elite Wrestling also released some videos and photos for the press. Below we show you an official photo showing what Jackson’s leg was like after the collision.
Another surprising moment of the battle came when Matt Jackson superkicks Jon Moxley, Sparks flew, and it was literal. The Young Bucks component planted a cable in his leg and Moxley was hit in the head as you will see below.
The massacre culminated in Konosuke Takeshita appearing hooded to attack Kenny Omega. Wheeler Yuta took advantage of this action to cover him and get the win for the three count.
