Duh, footballer dies after being struck by lightning in Tsukabumi

Sisat Police Chief of Sukabumi City Resort, AKP Deden Suleiman, said the match was held at Sisat Korpri Stadium.

The victim was taken to the hospital after being struck by lightning. However, his life could not be saved and eventually he breathed his last.

Deden explained that the committee had warned that the match should be postponed. But the appeal was ignored, until one player was finally struck by lightning.

“Earlier, the stadium manager and referee had warned them to postpone the match due to the sound of rain and sometimes lightning,” he said.

Recently, the family members of the victim have taken the body of the victim to the funeral home located in Sikaret village of Cabonpades district of Sukabumi Regency.
