Eagles are winless again in NFL after defeating Colts

The Philadelphia Eagles pulled off a thrilling comeback win in the NFL on Sunday, defeating the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 17-16.

The Eagles, whose perfect start to the season ended with a loss to Washington last week after eight games, looked likely for another loss when they entered the fourth quarter up 14-3.

But quarterback Jalen Hurts found Quaze Watkins with a 22-yard touchdown pass, and after a Colts field goal, Philadelphia (9–1) got the win with 1:20 remaining when Hurts ran for an eight-yard touchdown.

Hurts finished with 190 passing yards, 86 rushing yards, and two touchdowns.

Eagles coach Nick Siriani, who was the Colts’ offensive coordinator before joining Philadelphia, said, “It was a big win, not your picture, but that rarely happens in this league.”

“You see it, when we need a boost, when we need some points, we can always lean on our offensive line and Jalen is always special with the ball in his hands,” the coach said. Is.”

The Buffalo Bills, on the other hand, were forced to move their home game with the Cleveland Browns to Detroit due to a blizzard and went 7–3 with a 31–23 victory.

Browns quarterback Jacoby Brissett threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns, but three field goals in the fourth quarter were enough to clinch the win for the Bills, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Atlanta running back Cordarrelle Patterson set an NFL record for the day with his ninth kick-return touchdown, breaking the old mark he shared with Josh Cribbs and Leon Washington.

Patterson ran down the middle of the field with a 103-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to seal the Falcons’ record breaking 27–24 victory over Chicago.

It was his seventh touchdown return of over 100 yards. It was his first kick return since 2020.

Lamar Jackson scored on a 1-yard touchdown run after Carolina’s first of three late turnovers in the fourth quarter, giving division-leading AFC North Baltimore a 13–3 win. The Baltimore Ravens improved to 7–3.
