The country’s leading vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors has today launched a new CNG variant of its famous commercial vehicle Tata 407 in the domestic market. Adorned with an attractive look and strong engine capacity, the starting price of this mini truck has been fixed at Rs 12.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).

The company claims that this vehicle gives an opportunity to earn up to 35 percent more profit than the diesel variant. It is specially designed as a non stop profit machine. This vehicle is available with a load deck of 10 feet. This allows a large amount of goods to be loaded into the vehicle. The new offering will further strengthen Tata Motors’ wide CNG portfolio in the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment with a range of 5 ton to 16 ton gross vehicle segment.

In this CNG variant of Tata 407, the company has used a 3.8-liter engine, which generates maximum power of 85PS and torque of 285Nm. It has a CNG tank of capacity up to 180 kg. The luxurious Semi Forward Control (SFC) cabin of the Tata 407 is made from high grade steel, which makes the vehicle even more robust.

It has a parabolic suspension at the front, so that there is no need to change clutch and gear frequently. It also gets a mobile charging port and Blopunkt music system in the cabin, which makes it more convenient. It is also available with 2 years free subscription. The company is giving a warranty of 3 years or up to 3 lakh kilometers with it.
