Renowned Puntano personal trainer Edu Garay opened his first personalized training center. Work starts tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The brand new space is located at Salvador Segado 888, almost Exruta 3 and features high-tech equipment.
It has 12 teachers trained for the different goals of their assistants. It has various areas for functional training, bodybuilding, fitness, Hiit, spinning and cardio boxing.
“I have been a personal trainer for 10 years and am dedicated to health wellness, with a focus on aesthetics and general well-being of people. I started with functional training, then I did bodybuilding and during that time I worked in different gyms until about five years ago when I decided to open my own,” commented Garay.
Together with his partner Sebastián Villarroel, they decided to open the center in the south of the city because they wanted personal and professional growth. “Where I was before, I had 150 students, which demanded a lot from me. The idea arose to create something large with equipment designed to accommodate 300 or even 400 people,” he added.
“We thought about the southern region because we believe that there are no gyms there with modern equipment and none are able to accommodate such a large influx of people. I put the project together two years ago and we launched it a year and three months ago. Today I see it and it inspires me. “It’s something that seemed impossible,” he remarked.
In addition to the machines, the space has a field for outdoor training and a half-shed that houses other equipment.
They confirmed that training will be possible from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. starting this Monday.
“I feel a lot of happiness, excitement, a little fear, but also security because in these 10 years I have trained many people and today I feel that they are all there,” the reference says.
The timetable is expanded so that no student is left without lessons. The teachers work in 3-hour shifts. Garay will also be part of the professional staff: “What distinguishes us from all other gyms is that everyone who comes to our training center receives personalized attention.” The client will be analyzed by the professional, he will talk to the teacher and he will set his goal, in relation to it the routine he needs is determined.
There are 20 state-of-the-art machines, bullion machines, free weight machines, two advanced CrossFit racks, 50% of the space features high-impact rubber flooring, an advanced feature set and a full set of professional Skream bikes.
They held a pre-inauguration last Friday. They opened the space (called the Edu Garay Training Center) so that friends, family and students could toast and experience the space. Both Eduardo and Sebastián were very happy and thanked all the people who came by to greet them.
