The death of sergeant Maureen Breau, who was killed in an attack on Monday evening in Louiseville, has increased the heavy toll on police services in Canada, which have already lost eight police officers in the space of six and a half months.

Of the number six were killed, two were stabbed. Four of the suspects also lost their lives, three were shot dead and one who was conscious of his death, while the three suspects are facing justice.

This dark streak began on September 12 when Constable Andrew Hong was shot dead, apparently for no reason, in a Tim Hortons in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto.
The suspect then fled and went to Milton where he had done the gargling before. There he killed the owner of the shop, Shakeel Ashraf, and the worker, Satwinder Singh, before he was finally caught and killed by the police.
Devon Northrup and Morgan Russell
On October 12 Constables Devon Northrup and Morgan Russell of the South Simcoe Police Department in Ontario were called to respond to a complaint of a reported domestic dispute at an Innisfil residence.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer Shaelyn Yang, who was trained to work with people with mental health issues, was stabbed to death by a county employee in the City of Burnaby who was delivering signs to evict homeless people from a park in this municipality in British Columbia. .
