Electric EQA 2021, Mercedes brought to compete with Tesla, catches 100 kmph in 8.9 seconds

Mercedes Benz has launched its new all-electric EQA worldwide. In a compact SUV, this electric car will give a tough competition to Tesla’s Model Y. Mercedes has made it to attract young and urban customers. EQA is the full electric version of GLA. It has been produced at Rastatt’s factories in Germany, Beijing and China.

The car’s front look comes with a grille and LED headlights that feature a blue tint. At the back is its highlight flashlight. While the alloy wheels on the side view look quite stylish. The EQA is powered by a 190 horsepower electric motor that gives 375 Nm of torque. At the same time, 66 kWh battery has been given at the rear.

The battery can be charged through a 100 kW DC charged or 11 kW charging box. The EQA 250 catches a speed of 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds. Its top speed is 160 kmph. In the future, it may come with a four wheel drive version that will come with a range of 270 hp and 50 miles.

The car weighs 2040 kg which can carry a load of 430 kg. The boot space is 340 liters. After folding the rear seat, the space becomes 1320 liters. Its length is 446 cm, width 183 cm and height 162 cm.

In the car, you get 18-inch alloy wheels that come with LED headlights and MBUX infotainment system. Its price can be around 44 lakh rupees, while on February 4, the company is going to start its delivery globally.
