For many years technology has been an ally in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases and currently, the advancement of medicine is positively influenced by this industry: from an analysis with artificial intelligence (AI) to the detection of indicators associated with diseases , refers to Vilma Chávez, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (Facisa) of the Galileo University.
According to the professional, most doctors are already expert in the use of technical equipment such as monitors, infusion pumps, electrodes, formula calculation, use of algorithms, magnetic resonance imaging and tomography.
Chávez said that analysis by images is a relevant achievement to identify a patient’s pathology, without invasiveness and with certainty of the location, size, vascularization and affected organs.
