EMMERDALE icon Mike Parr has looked completely different since leaving the soap in 2018.
The 35-year-old actor, who played Ross Barton on the ITV soap, posed for a dramatic topless selfie, staring intensely at the camera and comparing himself to boxer Paul Sykes.
His followers were shocked by his transformation and it is unclear whether he used an app to change his features or wore makeup for a role, but many acknowledged that he “still will.”
“Still looking hot,” wrote one fan.
The Barton family was one of the most popular with Emmerdale fans, but years of dramatic storytelling have seen them perish, leaving only matriarch Moira and her sons, Isaac and Matty.
Ross Barton began life as a villain on Emmerdale—but quickly became a fan favorite and was mostly redeemed.
Mike reveals how he originally wanted to leave Emmerdale a year ago, but was convinced to stay off the acid attack plot.
The controversial story led him to recently fall in love with brain-injured multi-millionaire heiress Rebecca White after his family was killed in a car accident by his serial killer nephew Lachlan White.
Mike used his dual nationality to move to America after leaving Mike in an attempt to crack Hollywood.
He has worked on the short films The Eighty Fourth, the dramas Bulletproof, Mr Mayfair and Our Home.
Recently he joked that he was considering becoming a porn star after an adult entertainment company offered him a lucrative contract.
Mike recently lost a role in a play to his former onscreen brother, Anthony Quinlan.
He and 37-year-old Anthony played warring brothers Ross and Pete Barton, but have remained the best of screen mates since leaving the hit ITV soap.
So when Mike told Anthony that he had gone to audition for the BBC drama London Kills, Anthony decided to try his luck and went for the same part.
And sadly, for Mike it was Anthony who signed the bosses up for the role.
Anthony said: “I did a small job in London for the BBC and Acorn TV called London Kills.
Whereas Mike jumped immediately saying: “I had auditioned for it too but didn’t get it. And yes it was for the same part. I actually told him about the audition.”
Anthony said: “That’s the point, we go against each other for certain things. But I’d rather have it than anyone else.
“If we are auditioning for something we always push each other a little bit. And as I say I’d rather have it than anyone else.”
Mike said: “That’s easy for you to say! You’ve got the part.”
