The Environmental Evaluation Service (SEA) has approved the Environmental Impact Statement (DIA) of ENGIE Chile’s La Ligua Substation (SE) project in the municipality of La Ligua, ValparaÃso region.
The initiative – which involves an investment of $24 million – consists of the construction of a new SE that will allow the division of the 2×220 kV Nogales – Los Vilos and 1×110 kV QuÃnquimo – Cabildo lines.

According to the expansion plan of the zonal electricity transmission system promoted by the Ministry of Energy in Exceptional Decree No. 185, the SE La Ligua project aims to support the improvement of the security, continuity and flexibility of the SEN.
