According to police, 14 people were arrested at the scene without any violence occurring.
The activists wanted to send the message that it was “time for political change” to “give up fossil fuels,” the statement said.
They are calling for the renunciation of petrol, gas and coal
“We have to get out of petrol, gas and coal by 2030 at the latest. It is time for (German Prime Minister) Olaf Scholz to speak clearly,” said Marion Fabian, spokeswoman for Última Generación.
