The agreement is practically closed and next season, Enzo Copetti will be a player for Charlotte FC, a team competing in Major League Soccer in the United States.
As reported, the former Atlético de Rafaela player will transfer to the North Carolina team for a net worth of $6.3 million. Racing Club owns 80% of the footballer’s pass and the remaining percentage is owned by La Crema, which will net over $2 million.
“The market as it is, it’s a good sell”, commented Victor Blanco, president of Racing from Qatar. Although there were other offers such as from Italy to Udinese, in the end the man from Chaco would pack his bags to travel to the northern country. Relations with the fans of the academy were not in the best way and it seems that the player has found a way to say goodbye to the Avellaneda institution.
Racing paid $1,150,000 for the man from Chacko, who will turn 27 on January 16. It came from the hand of Juan Antonio Pizzi and was strengthened by Fernando Gago. He played in 96 games, scoring 31 goals and 8 assists.
