“I see that sometimes you have to be a lobbyist, to be a kind of group thinking. “Let’s unite and create a company.” I don’t see it as part of DEI’s role.
“Anyway, I can actually see that the partial responsibility of this team is to take this out of the workplace, reorient people to community efforts on these topics, these issues, but not allow, encourage, or even turn a blind eye to the wrong use of company time and resources.
“It’s okay to have passions, but not here. This is not a platform for fighting for your social cause, not a platform for fighting for any cause, in fact, except for the fact that we get together and work. This comes from their years of watching what happens.
“There is a moment when you have to say that work is work. Personal life is personal life. You have to say no to a whole host of things that are happening right now because some of them are good, interesting, and appropriate for your personal endeavors. This is not part of our efforts here. “
