Evers Administration Seeks Contribution To The First Wisconsin Clean Energy Plan

The Wisconsin Office of Sustainable Development and Clean Energy will hold four public hearings on the Clean Energy Plan to guide the state’s transition from fossil fuels.

Visit to register for any of the sessions that will be streamed via Zoom. Those without Internet access can participate by calling (877) 873-8018 (conference code: 248199). The sessions will also be streamed on the Administration YouTube channel.

October 19 from 18:00 to 20:00 – Economic and environmental justiceStrategies to promote inclusion and environmental justice, build partnerships, improve and support learning, and plan for a just and equitable transition.

October 21, from 11:00 to 13:00 – Infrastructure and industry: Decarbonization strategies and pathways to ensure cost-effective and fair operation.

October 26, from 11:00 to 13:00 – Transit and transportDecarbonization strategies, paths and programs to achieve clean and efficient transportation, balance costs and prioritize equity.

October 26, 18 – 20.00 – Clean energy and energy efficiency: potential programs, policies and support for cleaner production, transmission, renewable energy end-use and innovation, ranging from batteries and storage to communal solar, carbon capture and energy efficiency.
