Everything you need to know about crossplay and crossave in Mortal Kombat 1

In the world of cross-platform gaming, crossplay and crossave are two very common features. These features allow players to interact with people who have different gaming platforms and transfer their progress between them. In the case of Mortal Kombat 1, these features are in development and will not be available at launch.

Crossplay is the ability to play against players from other platforms. However, this is not possible in Mortal Kombat 1. Whether you’re playing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch or PC, you can only play against players on the same platform. Fortunately, NetherRealm Studios is working to implement crossplay in future updates to the game.

When it comes to cross-save or saving between platforms, connectivity between platforms offers more possibilities. To enable this feature in Mortal Kombat 1 you must follow the following steps:

1. Go to the WB Games website.
2. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
3. Link your account to all platforms you currently play on and want to transfer your progress to.
4. The Crossave feature will be automatically activated on each linked platform when you launch the game.

This allows you to transfer your story progress and online profile to different platforms. For example, if you play on Steam and want to continue your game on a Steam Deck or another PC, all you have to do is log in to your account and your game and progress will be linked thanks to cloud saves.

If you have any further questions, you can consult the Mortal Kombat 1 FAQ section. Although these features are not available at launch, the development team is working to provide players with the best cross-platform gaming experience.
