Leo Messi gave an interview on “Olga en vivo” in which, in a relaxed tone, he reflected on the current moment in which he lives, having signed with Inter Miami after not extending with Paris Saint-Germain. The Argentine has finished his European campaign and has been anchored in the USA’s MLS for months.
The striker signed a two-year contract with Inter Miami until December 31, 2025. So he will be 38 years old and, as he himself admitted in the interview, “Time passes for everyone”. When asked about his future plans, Messi admitted that he is not yet sure, although he revealed some of his professional dreams.
“I haven’t thought about it and I don’t want to think about it. I want to continue to enjoy what I do. I have taken an important step to leave Europe behind. I don’t want to think about the next step, but rather about enjoying what I like most, which is gaming. It’s a job I love, it’s a godsend. I have responsibility. I don’t know what I’m going to do, I like everything that has to do with football, I like being with children, teaching and also being a sports director. but I don’t know where I’m going,” he explained.
When asked if the option of returning to Argentina was on the table, Messi did not hide and was candid: “Personally, there was always the thought of being able to enjoy Argentine football. And even more so after I became world champion and was able to play in Newells. “I used to go to their farm when I was little,” he said.
