This Monday, the Second National Festival of Physical Education Classes started in the state of Cojesdes, a meeting that brought together 19 delegations from the country to share experiences of various innovative strategies based on the academic development of students.
The day began with a presentation of cultural activities where the attendees enjoyed the beats of veena, cuatro and maracas.
All educational levels and modalities participate
César Hernández, director of the Center for the Development of Educational Quality of Cojedes, explained that during this week, teachers specializing in physical education of each educational level and modality will share their experiences, expressing the knowledge of the daily classroom.
He expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Education for considering Kozedes as the venue for this second festival, which he considered a great educational festival that unites the whole Union. “It is a feeling for us to welcome our brothers who come to meet us today as the venue of this meeting. We thank all those who took responsibility in one way or another to make this meeting possible in the various institutions” , Hernandez expressed.
Likewise, Hernandez explained that he would pay tribute to sports teacher Crismarie Parada, who is also a deputy of the National Assembly.
On his part, Erik Garcia, general director of physical education and sports at the Ministry of Education, highlighted that the festival is organized in several phases, “an institutional one, then the circle one and then the municipal one, then the state phase comes. And now we are completing the national stage, proud that it is in this plains state, I am happy that they have opened the doors for us to develop another festival of physical education class”, he Prakash Poured.
They incorporate special education and indigenous education methodologies
Garcia also explained that special education and indigenous education modalities are being included this year, detailing that they will have samples from the elementary, primary, special and secondary education levels.
They show up to work from physical education classes
Rosemary Gonzalez, a teacher representing Trujillo state, said she brought a sample of the work she developed to her classes for children in elementary education.
“In my class (…) we work with motor skills, especially in mine I did bipodal jumps, segmental and total exercises, which are exercises for the whole body, both lower and higher, and children integration at the basic level. Initially it has been satisfactory”, he explained.
