Many did not have this Movie when they thought of their most anticipated science fiction films, but this Regency and eOne production for 20th century studios has gained huge popularity with its spectacular trailers.

What is “The Creator”, the science fiction thriller by Gareth Edwards, about?
The creator is set in a future where humanity is on the brink of war with the forces of artificial intelligence. Joshua, a former soldier played by John David Washington (Tenet) is on a mission to kill “the Creator,” a highly advanced AI with a weapon capable of destroying humanity (ending the war).
However, along the way, topics typical of science fiction films and androids are discussed, and the line between artificial and human life is blurrier than it seems.
Nothing new, but the spectacular staging, huge action scenes and special effects seen in the trailers are promising.
Also notable in the cast are Gemma Chan (Eternals), Allison Janney (Yo, Tonya), Ken Watanabe (Godzilla) or the singer Sturgill Simpson.
“The Creator” was written by Gareth Edwards himself together with Chris Weitz and cites influences such as Akira, Blade Runner, Rain Man, ET and Baraka. “The Creator” will be released in Spanish cinemas September 29, 2023.
