Raipur: The fire broke out on Saturday in a private hospital in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. There have been reports of 5 deaths in this arson. The Chief Minister has expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and announced a grant of Rs. 4 lakhs.
According to the information, 5 people died in the incident. Speaking to the media, additional SP Tarakeshwar Patel said, 5 people lost their lives. Other patients have been shifted to another hospital. The investigation is on.
One patient died of burns and the other died of corona infection. One patient is being reported missing. After the incident, relatives were seen crying outside the hospital. Family members say the hospital’s fire system was defective. The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit. The hospital management showed negligence after the incident. Information was concealed by the management. The police were also not informed for hours.
