GAINESVILE, Fla. (NWN) — Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson, after recovering from an injury, was injured in a knee dance at the team hotel the night before they lost to South Carolina.
Coach Dan Mullen said on Monday that Richardson was “walking around” the football facility on Monday. The Gators (4-5) host Samford (4-5) on Saturday.
Richardson was cleared to play against the Gamecocks, which rolled in a 40–17 victory that allowed the Gators a season-high 459 yards and their most points in series history.
But Richardson made a move, bending his knee, and landed on the bench in South Carolina.
