The new agreement will allow more Canadian travelers to seamlessly connect to multiple destinations on flydubai’s growing network through the Dubai Aviation Hub.
Dubai-based airline flydubai announced a new partnership with Air Canada to offer more convenient travel options to customers flying between Canada, the Middle East, East Africa, the Indian subcontinent and South Asia.
Pending final regulatory approval, the Air Canada marketing code will be placed on nine routes operated by flydubai from Dubai, allowing customers to travel to these markets with the issuance of a single ticket.
The nine routes include Bahrain, Dammam, Jeddah, Madinah and Muscat in the GCC as well as Colombo and Karachi in the Indian subcontinent. Additionally, through an interline agreement, customers will be able to seamlessly connect in Dubai to over 60 destinations operated by fly Dubai in the Middle East, East Africa and South Asia, including Djibouti, Kathmandu and the Maldives.
Over 30 of these destinations are exclusive to Fly Dubai and are not flown by other Air Canada partners.

The airlines also have plans to further improve the connection process in Dubai and are working to introduce expanded facilities and benefits for each other’s loyalty program members, which will be announced later this year.
