The Tlaxcala Welfare Secretariat’s strategy to bring free and quality medical services that contribute to improving the health conditions of the population and strengthening the culture of disease prevention, gives positive results after about 12 months of operation, where your health There are 11 welfare units for A total of 25,144 medical consultations have been provided to vulnerable people in all areas of the state.
The head of the Tlaxcala Welfare Secretariat, María Estela Álvarez Corona, explained that the benefit is provided unlimited to those affiliated with the 11 units, to provide Tlaxcalans access to care by health professionals.
Álvarez Corona reminded that the affiliation process is free and simple, so he invited those who want to be beneficiaries of the program to visit the Ministry of Welfare’s facilities to meet the requirements and take advantage of the unlimited, monthly benefits and in units offered annually.
He pointed out that as of May 8, the unit based in Calpulalpan Municipality has provided 2,245 consultations, in Contla, 1,997 services have been provided, and in Humantla, 1,670 people have benefited.
Meanwhile, the Welfare Unit for Your Health in Ixtacuixtla has registered 2,299 consultations, a total of 2,506 Tlaxcalans in Nanacamilpa and 2,362 in San Pablo del Monte have benefited.
At Tetla, 2,093 consultations have been provided, at the Tlaxco unit, 1,453, and at Zacatelco, 2,344.
The municipalities reporting the highest demand for medical consultations are Papalotla with a total of 3,074 services and Yaukmechan with 3,101 beneficiaries.
