The Ford Mustang Mach-E adds to its portfolio in the Mexican market, and also the price has received a considerable reduction.
A year ago Ford announced the commercialization of Places called Mustang Mach-E in Mexico, launching it with a hefty price tag of over 2 million pesos. Of course, this kept it away from many potential customers, but now the American electric can have a second wind, because the company lowered the final cost of the car.
A new version and a famous price reduction
Without much fanfare, the new Premium version has been introduced to the Mexican offer. This variant is positioned as the entry version and has some important differences compared to the Performance GT, which remains the top of the range.
On the outside, the carbon fiber grille, the front calipers decorated in red, as well as the GT Performance emblems are gone. The reduction in equipment has also reached the interior, saying goodbye to the front seats with fixed headrests and metal seams.
The most important change occurs at a mechanical level, because even retains the large 91 kWh battery, performance drops to 258 kW (346 horsepower) and 428 lb.-ft.. This version is not as fast as 358 kW and 634 lb-ft, but it pays for a range that grows from 410 to 465 km on a charge.
Both versions include a complete safety suite that is not limited to a 360 camera, stability control, tire pressure monitor, or eight airbags. They also received a pre-collision system with emergency braking, blind spot monitor, lane keeping, etc.
With all these changes Ford Mustang Mach-E 2023 now has a base price of $1,440,000 MXN for the Premium version, and $1,785,000 MXN for the GT Performance. Both versions can be ordered in six different colors.
