Former first daughter Barbara Bush gives birth to first child

28 September (WNN) — Former first daughter Barbara Bush gave birth to her first child, her father, former President George W. Bush, said in a statement Tuesday.

George W Bush and his wife, former First Lady Laura Bush, said 39-year-old Barbara Bush and her husband Craig Lois Coyne welcomed a baby girl named Cora Georgia.

“With all my heart, Laura and I are pleased to announce the birth of our new granddaughter,” the couple said. “Barbara gave birth to Cora Georgia Coyne on September 27, 2021 in Maine – where Barbara and Craig were married.”

“Kora is healthy and adorable, and we are proud and grateful,” he said.

Bush’s sister Jenna Bush Hager shared photos with Bush, Coyne, and baby Cora on Instagram.
