Four students were arrested on September 8 at William Hart High School in Santa Clarita, California, officials said.

The same day, a student at Buena Park High School was also arrested for allegedly carrying a firearm on campus after a school employee alerted the police.
Buena Park police said in a statement that a loaded gun was found in the student’s pants pocket after a fierce fight.
The student has been taken to the Juvenile Hall. Police are still investigating the motive for bringing the gun to the student’s school.
