In 2002, the Museum of Sex opened in New York, which will now have a second location in Miami when it opens its doors in 2023 with the aim of “celebrating the cultural significance of human sexuality”, with approximately 3,000 squares of permanent and temporary exhibits in an area meter.

The Miami headquarters will be located in a converted warehouse in the northwest area of Miami.

In addition to the more than 20,000 artifacts and works of art that make up the museum’s permanent collection, including photography, technology and clothing, the design also includes spaces for permanent and rotating exhibitions.
Museo It will open in 2023 with temporary exhibitions such as Modern Sex: 100 Years of Design and Decency, as well as Desire Machines by Japanese artist Hajime Soreyama.
It will also house permanent exhibits, including an ongoing New York exhibition titled Super Funland: Journey into the Erotic Carnival, designed by a host of designers and artists including fashion designer Bart Hayes, artist Rebecca Purcell, and RuPaul.
