This year’s Gamescom will be opened once again by Opening Night Live, which promises a highlight or two of the evening.
In the run-up, they now reveal that they can wait for at least 30 games to be shown on stage. These include premieres, updates to existing games, and some surprises. The show will again be of about two hours.

Already the 2021 Gamescom Opening Night Live was brimming with news about more than 30 highly anticipated titles. Nearly 6 million people watched the event live through the stream, making the show one of the most successful international gaming shows of the year. Trailers for the AAA blockbuster alternated with lengthy gameplay sessions and in-depth interviews with studio guests.
Gamescom Opening Night Live will take place on August 23 at 8 p.m.
