The captives refer to themselves as “children of God” and would also engage in various armed robberies and drug trafficking.
Eight Venezuelans who made up a dangerous criminal gang were eliminated by officers of the Peruvian National Police during two procedures carried out in the city of Pucallpa.
According to local media reports, those detained would be members of the “Aragua train”, indicated agents of the Intelligence Directorate (Dirin).
It was revealed upon investigation that the captives may have called themselves “children of God” and were involved in various armed robberies, drug trafficking, killing people and extortion.
According to Peru Informativo, those arrested were identified as Owen Fonseca Díaz (24), Jordan Daniel Espinoza Leando (24), Yderson Fernández Díaz Pérez (22), Natalia Gonzales Chirinos (20), Yvelís Eugenia Duarte Bernal (19), Mariani Performed as Antonio. Acosta (33), Robinson Delgado Rojas (27) and Catarina del Valle Coraspe Torres (19).
However, officials indicated that these names would be contrary to emigration, as they would have another identity with which they worked in Peru.
During the process, three firearms including a mini-Uzi and six magazines were found. Also 50 rounds of ammunition of different calibres, 500 grams of basic cocaine paste and eight high-end cell phones.
