Germany wins first ever basketball World Cup after beating Serbia

The Basketball World Cup has ended and Germany was consecrated for the first time in its history after defeating Serbia 83-77 in the final of the FIBA ​​​​​​​​2023 championship that took place at the Hall of Asia in Manila, in the Philippines.

The best result of the German team was the bronze medal in Indianapolis 2002 and this time they had a perfect participation with 8-0, becoming the fifth team to become the undefeated champion of the tournament.

In addition, the Germans eliminated the United States in the semifinals, one of the favorites in this tournament that finished in fourth place after losing to Canada in the bronze medal match.
