Get ready! Coming in CNG variant next month, this Tata car will give great mileage

Tata Motors, the country’s largest automaker, plans to quickly add CNG models to its car portfolio in the Indian market. Recently, some CNG variants of the company’s current models have been spotted during testing. Now news is coming that the company will launch the CNG model of their famous hatchback car Tata Tiago in the domestic market next month.

Recently, the company has introduced their cheapest micro SUV Tata Punch in the market. Now Tiago CNG will be the next model that the company will launch. Not only that, this will be Tata Motors’ first CNG car. Media reports also claim that unofficial booking of these CNG vehicles has also started at selected dealerships of the company. Which customers can book by depositing Rs 11,000 to Rs 15,000

However, Tata Motors has not yet made an official announcement. According to reports, a dealership in Delhi has confirmed that the company may launch Tiago CNG in the market within the next month. Currently, Maruti Suzuki is at the top of the country in terms of CNG vehicles, Maruti has 6 vehicles in its CNG portfolio.

In the current Tata Tiago, the company has used a naturally aspirated petrol engine with a capacity of 1.2 liters with 3 cylinders. Which generates 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and automatic (AMT) gearbox. It is believed that its CNG variant will be offered with manual transmission only.

Coming in a total of 10 variants, this car is priced from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 7.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Recently, the company launched the new Facelift Tiago NRG, priced at Rs 6.57 lakh. This car is also very good in terms of mileage, in general this car gives 23 to 24 kmpl mileage.
