Bajaj Auto, the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, is going to include a new model of its famous Pulsar series in the domestic market soon. Although discussions to bring this new Pulsar 250 to the market have been going on for a long time, now the launch date of this bike is being revealed in the media reports.
According to the information, the company may bring this bike to the market on October 28. It is believed that the company can present both its NS250 and 250F together. This bike has also been seen during testing recently. The quarter-liter motorcycle will be offered in two trims, naked and semi-fair.
As far as the design of the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 is concerned, its styling is mostly inspired by the Streetfighter NS200. The front has an aggressive look with single pod headlamp cluster, integrated LED daytime running light, large headlamp cowl and fly screen.
Most of the existing range of Bajaj Pulsar is based on a steel perimeter frame but the new platform can help the bike increase strength as well as reduce weight. Based on the spy shots, it can be said that the company is giving a muscular look and design to the fuel tank of both the bikes. Outside of this, telescopic forks on the front and monoshock suspension on the back will be provided.
What will the engine look like:
The company can offer this bike a single cylinder oil / air cooled engine with a capacity of 249cc, which produces about 24 bhp of power and 20 Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 6 speed gearbox. Earlier media reports claimed that the company could use Variable Valve Auction (VVT) technology. Disc brakes and dual channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) will be offered as standard on both wheels of this bike. Other features include bluetooth connectivity and multiple driving modes.
