Gloria Trevi revealed in episode 22 of her bioseries ‘They are me’, that she suffered an abortion against her will when she was 27 years old during filming.
The singer opened her heart and shared the terrible experience she had in 1995 at the hands of former music producer, Sergio Andrade.
“He asked me to jump the fence during the recording of ‘Una papa sin ketchup.’ It was too high. I suddenly jumped but I couldn’t stop the knob and I fell. He got mad at me for any stupid thing, because that’s what he got mad for, for stupid things,” he said.
The actress said that she had a suspicion that she was pregnant, but she would not say it because she was afraid that her former producer would not allow her to have a child.
Because this is not the first time that there is a woman in the group who had a child from the producer and was forced to terminate the pregnancy.
“In a moment of desperation when I started to tell him that I didn’t want anything, he grabbed me by the shoulders. He started shaking me and I said, ‘You know what, I think I’m pregnant and I think something happened because I’m bleeding.’ That’s when he sent me to Houston,” he cried.
Gloria testified that Andrade assured her that the child she was carrying was no longer alive:
“They told me that the baby was outside the womb and there was nothing they could do, that they had to take it. I cried, I didn’t want to. Then he talked to me and told me that he misses that child and that one day he will have a child with me.”

It is not known if Gloria died when she arrived at the hospital in Houston or she was just tricked into having an abortion against her will.
