Goodbye from the RAM 1500 TRX

This is due to the changes made by the brand to gradually switch to electric due to United States regulations.

From the massive off-road wheels to the menacing “cat’s eyes” on the hood, everything about RAM inspires respect.

The most powerful version of pickup trucks ended with the introduction of the RAM REV in 2024, the first electric version of the line. Although Dodge executives stated that while it was the end of the Ram 1500 TRX, “it won’t be the last we see a high-performance Ram, it’s just the end of an era as we know it today.”

This edition will continue to sport the same engine as last year, a monstrous 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.

Inside the TRX, a series of commands are controlled that are more like the cockpit of an airplane than that of a pickup truck.

An eight-speed automatic transmission will also follow. Acceleration from 0 to 120 km/h takes 4.5 seconds and the top speed is 190 km/h.

Although the strongest feature of this truck is its performance, it was not modified in the final edition to avoid re-engineering an engine that is no longer used.

DETAILS

Dodge wants to release this edition with a limited color palette. You only have three color options: Delmonico Red, Harvest Sunrise, and Night Edge Blue. It also features satin-finished titanium wheels and special decals on the hood and tailgate.

With over 700 hp and impressive torque, the RAM can literally lift its front wheels with good acceleration.

However, several packages with additional cash payments will be available. In the TRX Level 2 package, the front seats are multi-directional and feature a head-up display for $10,995. They also offer a carbon fiber TRX package for an additional $1,295. The final price is no less than $119,000.
