This is due to the changes made by the brand to gradually switch to electric due to United States regulations.
The most powerful version of pickup trucks ended with the introduction of the RAM REV in 2024, the first electric version of the line. Although Dodge executives stated that while it was the end of the Ram 1500 TRX, “it won’t be the last we see a high-performance Ram, it’s just the end of an era as we know it today.”
This edition will continue to sport the same engine as last year, a monstrous 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
An eight-speed automatic transmission will also follow. Acceleration from 0 to 120 km/h takes 4.5 seconds and the top speed is 190 km/h.
Although the strongest feature of this truck is its performance, it was not modified in the final edition to avoid re-engineering an engine that is no longer used.
Dodge wants to release this edition with a limited color palette. You only have three color options: Delmonico Red, Harvest Sunrise, and Night Edge Blue. It also features satin-finished titanium wheels and special decals on the hood and tailgate.
The interior features patina thread embroidered TRX logos on the seats, “triaxle suede” inserts on the door panels and matte carbon fiber trim. Patina cross stitches also bring the instrument panel to life, and special badges sparkle on the center console and dashboard.
Standard luxury and safety features include a head-up display, eight-way power driver and passenger seats, 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio, digital rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and front and rear park assist (ParkSense with Stop).
However, several packages with additional cash payments will be available. In the TRX Level 2 package, the front seats are multi-directional and feature a head-up display for $10,995. They also offer a carbon fiber TRX package for an additional $1,295. The final price is no less than $119,000.
