Google has updated the Android branding with a new modern design

Google has introduced a new and modern look for the Android brand, including an updated logo inspired by Material design. As explained by Jason Fournier, director of consumer brand management for Android, in a blog post, the new design includes elements that complement the Google brand color palette while maintaining adaptability.

The changes include capitalizing the “A” in Android and giving more emphasis to the appearance of the logo next to the Google logo. The goal of the Android brand identity update is to better communicate the relationship between Android devices and the Google apps and services familiar to users.

These updates, which include an updated logo and a 3D version of the droid robot, will appear on Android devices and other places later this year.

Google’s new visuals for the Android brand mark a change from the previous minimal “android” styling and show a greater resemblance to the Google logo. The changes also introduce more Android curves and personality, while maintaining the balance of the Google brand.

With this change in the Android brand, Google aims to deliver a more unified and unified user experience with its services and products. With these updates, users can expect a more consistent and recognizable Android brand identity.
