Google Pixel 6a may also use “Magic Eraser” for images. On the new smartphone from Google, here is the test of Benny, an extension for this function. With “camouflage” the eraser can also “camouflage” disturbing objects in pictures.
In fact, Magic Eraser completely removes objects from images that you don’t like. The results are usually quite useful. But sometimes the result looks strange. With the new Camouflage function, which will certainly be available later on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro as well, related objects are not removed entirely, but are repainted and the contrast weakened so that they are less noticeable. Be giveaway/distracting. The Verge has tried out the tool and is already showing some results.
Note the chair in the background above, which is glazed in turquoise in the original photo. The camouflage function colors it more subtly so that it is less visible. The new feature is available on Google Pixel 6a and will reach its release date i.e. July 28, 2022, on Pixel 6 and 6 Pro as well.
